(9-29-14)

HELLLLLOOOOOOOO EVERYONE

This week was pretty neat, but then again every week is pretty neat haha. One of the families that we were teaching got baptized this week! They are the greatest. The mom is named Eliet and has two kids, her daughter (Adrianna) is 14 and her son (Ramiro) is 9. It was so happy. There were some obstacles the day before their baptisms, but we were praying and fasting and it all worked out in the end. I have such a testimony of fasting.

I know that Heavenly Father is qualifying us in this work. We are trying to teach more like the savior taught which means teaching to the needs of the investigators, being patient, and asking more questions (and following the spirit of course). I like to think we get a little bit better everyday. Women´s conference really was the best. We watched it in Spanish and I understood basically everything! I especially loved in President Uchtdorf´s talk when he talked about how blessings from god are like the rain and when we obey the commandments we take down our umbrellas that are blocking the rain/blessings. That is really so true. I´m really excited to share this insight with our investigators.

Today in the morning we went to Imigration because Hermana Dalrymple´s cedula was ready. Plus, we didn´t even get lost. From what I can tell a cedula just says that your a resident of Nicaragua. Which obviously means that I´m way excited to get mine. The lady said that mine would probably be ready in another two weeks.

There are a ton of companionships in our zone that are training. Talking to the new missionaries definitely brought back the memories of my first month in the field when i couldn´t really understand anything. Of course there are still random people that can´t understand anything I say but that is okay haha.

Also, whenever we are contacting we almost always find a menos activo. It is always so surprising but so great!

I hope you are all as excited for General Conference next week as I am! I love you and pray for you everyday. Also, I promise later letters will be more exciting. Have a fantastic week!

Hermana Lee
