(9-22-14)

Welcome to espisode 2 of Hermana Dalrymple and Hermana Lee in Villa Flor! We are learning, growing, and trusting a ton. We have a goal to not speak any English and what do you know we are actually doing it! I´m pretty proud of us. Between the two of us we understand basically everything and can say what we want to say (and the spirit helps with the rest).

This week was really special for us. Last week three of the families we were working with moved away from Managua which was really sad, but on Saturday they had moved back again! We are working really hard to make sure that we are following the Spirit and that we are talking with the investigators and not just talking at them. I love missionary work a lot. We had a special experience where we were walking back to our house at the end of the day and we passed by a lady sitting on the corner. I´ve been working on following promptings even if I´m not sure they´re promptings, and we turned back and talked to her. We told her that we were representatives of Jesus Christ and that we felt that we needed to talk to her. She started crying and told us about some of the trials she was having with her son. I know that the Lord puts people in our path for a reason and that people really need this gospel. The Lord hears our prayers. Also, I´m pretty sure that one of the little brothers of one of our investigators is going to be an apostle one day. We are also working with our recent converts of one year and they are so amazing.

Also, we eat lunch everyday in the house of a member, Hermana Wendy and her family and yesterday she had her baby! SO HAPPY! I really love them so much. We took pictures today but I don´t have my camera right now... just know that I´m pretty tan (well tan for me) and I´ve stopped wearing makeup.

Also, for a list of random food I have eaten (and suprisingly I have loved everything):
crab, fish, chicken feet, chicken throat, chicken kidneys, and cow liver. And I´m pretty sure I have eaten more... I just didn´t ask what it was haha.

I love you all! And I loved hearing about your weeks! Keep the faith! Know that Heavenly Father trusts us and qualifies us!

Hermana Lee
