Hello to all of you! I love you all so much. I hope you know that.
This week our mission had a conference with the entire mission and Elder Alonso of the Seventy. It was so powerful. We did a lot of preparation beforehand. We had a whole packet of talks to read and instructions to read specific parts of Preach my Gospel and scriptures. We learned so much before we even went to the conference. We all had the opportunity to shake hands with Elder Alonso and his wife which was so great. He is a man of God. I had so many new insights and felt the spirit so strongly. I love how when we feel the spirit it is more than just a confirmation than what is said is true, but what we can change in our own lives. I think my favorite part (okay I can`t have a favorite part because I loved all of it) of it all was hearing his testimony of Christ and the effect that it has on his life. Rise up and walk!
I have also gained a stronger testimony of fasting. There is such a special spirit and power when we fast. We are closer to our Savior. I know that Christ lives and that this is his work. We have been working on making sure our focus isn`t numbers or ourselves, but finding who needs this gospel at this time. I love these people so much!
Transfers are on Monday so we`ll see what happens! We have 45 minutes to write now on Mondays so know that I love you a lot even if I can`t always respond! Enjoy your week!
