(10-6-14)

Guess what? I finally brought my camera to send home a few pictures... but I forgot my cable. One day I will bring both haha.

I already new that General Conference was one of my favorite things ever, but general conference in the mission is even better. First off, it was really cool because the whole mission was fasting to achieve some mission goals so that was really cool to be united as a mission, united in purpose. We had some really special experiences this conference. Every investigator that came had their own special story. For instance, we are teaching this couple named Cecilia and Rigoberto. Rigoberto has been really sick so he couldn´t come, but Cecilia came to the Saturday afternoon session and loved it! We invited her for Sunday and she said she really wanted to. When we passed by she was already ready. She shared with us afterwards how she had recieved an answer to her prayers in one of her talks. Also, we were passing by for a ton of people in the morning and we saw an hermana who was walking home from the mercado with some really heavy bags. We helped her home and then invited her to conference and she came! Also, her dad had said that his dad had always said that he would never recieve the missionaries or even give them a glass of water, but then he gave us lemonade! How great is that? The Lord touches people´s hearts everyday. And that is only two of the stories! We saw so many miracles this weekend. So many. Yes it is hard at times, but we see so many tender mercies. I love this work! We have the spirit to guide us always!

Also, yes, I loved that the authorities could give there talks in their native language. So great to hear the talks in Spanish! I really loved inviting people to conference because we could explain easily that we have a prophet in our day and then testify. Also, not going to lie, it was cool to know that when they read off how many missionaries are serving that I was included in that number

We had divisions this week and I was with Hermana Boj who is from Guatemala. She is so great! It was her one month in the mission mark so we bought ice cream haha. It´s the little things.

I really love you all and your letters. They make me so happy. You don´t even know. Have an amazing week! Remember that there is always hope. One of my new favorite scriptures we have been using a ton is Ether 12:4 Look it up!
