Guess what?? I finally have my cedula!!!!! Basically it is a card that says I am a resident of Nicaragua. I´m pretty proud haha.
Okay I just want to take a minute and go on and on about how much I love the people here. Non members, members, recent converts, menos activos, EVERYONE. Sure there are some people that aren´t the nicest, but there are so many more that are super lindo that it doesn´t even matter.
We didn´t have cambios so that means that Hermana Dalrymple and I are going to be here in Villa Flor another 6 weeks and I am so happy. We have so many great investigators that we are working with and I´m not quite ready to say goodbye just yet.
Hermana Dalrymple and I are writing up a list titled "You know you are an Hermana in Nicaragua when..." I share some of those gems next week. Haha we think we´re pretty funny.
We had a family that was all ready to get baptized this weekend (Isabel and her two kids), but then Isabel finally found a job about three days before their baptism and you guessed it, she has to work on Sundays super early. We were fasting and praying (us and the family) that her boss would give her permission to go in an hour late to work on Sundays, but in the end she didn´t get permission. That was really sad but I know that they are going to get baptized, just a different week. She is looking for a new job and I know that Mosiah 4:9 is true.
I am so grateful for this work and I know that the Lord is shaping us bit by bit into the people that he needs. I love you all so much and I was so happy to hear about your weeks! Keep the faith!
Hermana Lee
