Heads up, I´m typing on a English keyboard, but the computer is set for a Spanish one so I have to remember where all the punctuation normally is on a spanish one. Don´t judge me for mistakes.
Maybe it is because I am almost at my six month mark, but everyday I am loving the mission more and more. I really am so blessed with the people around me. Investigators, members, companions, missionaries, non members, converts. Really this might just be the happiest I have ever been. I know that there has been a lot of hard times, but it is hard to remember them when there is so much GOOD.
Today we traveled to the Distribution Center and finally bought hymn books and triples for all of our recent converts. So great! I also got a Daughter in my Kingdom in Spanish. I never had one so I´m pretty excited to read it.
Here´s a funny story from the week. We were walking and this guy started talking to us in English because he lives in the States for more than half of the year to work, but also spends a lot of time in Nicaragua because he is from here. I´ve never been a missionary in English and Hermana Dalrymple and I think in Spanish now so we were trying to explain to him what we do as missionaries and a little bit about the church in English and it might just have been the hardest thing we have ever done haha. Lets just say a ton of Spanglish. But we had a lesson with him and his girlfriend the other day and they are super prepared and interested in the gospel. We´ll see what happens with them.
I have so many great stories from this week, but they will have to wait for later, I love you all so much! You are in my prayers!
Hermana Lee
Oh! and happy late Halloween! No one here celebrates it so I definitely forgot about it until halfway through the day haha
