How crazy is that?! We reached the 6 month mark. Now if I think where I´m going to be a year from now it´s not going to be here in the mission. I´m not even sure how that happened. That just means that I´m even more determined to make every day count.
We had a really tender experience this week. We were teaching a lesson to Fatima and Erik who are our recién conversos and Erik shared with us a scripture that was a direct answer to his prayers in the triple combination that we gave them last monday. It was so happy. I loved seeing them discover just how wonderful the scriptures are. I have found so many answers to my prayers in the scriptures. I know that the scriptures are the word of God and can help us in so many ways. We really do see so many miracles in the mission. Some small, some big, but all are miracles just the same.
Also, I don´t know if I´ve mentioned it before, but contacting buses is actually really fun. We´ve done it two times now and both times was so great. Both times we did it we started by asking "cuales de ustedes creen en Jesucristo, levanten su mano!" or who belives in Christ, raise your hand and then everyone on the bus raises their hands. Contacting buses is not a super effective way to contact, but it is a good way to get rid of any fear we have.
Also, we have been working with a lot of menos activos and they´ve been coming to church! One of them works making the decorative iron bars that go on the windows or doors here. He sodders (I have no idea how to spell that) and he let us try it for a second. It was super cool!
I love you all!
Hermana Lee
Also, for the first time ever I ate cow intestines and they´re actually pretty good!
