This week we had interviews with President Collado, our mission president. He is really so great. I always learn so much and get even more excited about missionary work. We also are focusing more on helping people learn for themselves. We teach people, not lessons. Basically, this means that we ask a lot of questions. It is also really cool because we have been focusing on giving specific promises and testifying even more.
Remember Cecilia who I mentioned last week? She is really so great. She is so in tune with the spirit. We had a lesson with her about how to recognize promptings of the Holy Ghost and answers to prayer. During Relief Society, someone made a comment about coffee and how we shouldn´t drink it. When we were walking her back to her house, Cecilia told us that she was going to stop drinking coffee and we hadn´t even taught her the Word of Wisdom.
Also, here is a funny story from the week. Here there is a huge fence/wall surrounding the church. On Saturday, we were passing by the church and there were a bunch of people locked in since the gate was broken. I walked up and was talking to one of the members and tried to open the gate, and it opened! They all looked at me like I had magic powers haha. Someone made a comment about the power of missionary work. We just laughed and kept walking.
I´ve heard a lot about the Meet the Mormons movie. I haven´t seen it, but it is supposed to be really good!
