(7-7-14)

I`m trying to type as fast as I can so don`t judge me for typos. This week was so great. We have some really great investigators. We have a baptism this weekend and we are so excited for him. There really are people who have been prepared, we just have to find them! We see miracles everyday. This really is the Lord`s work. We work all day long and come home exhausted, but it is a good kind of exhausted you know?

I talked a lot with a returned missionary Hermana Pearson before I left on my mission because she served in Nicaragua Managua North too and guess what? It turns out that she trained Hermana Corzantes who is my trainer! Small world after all huh?

We had a zone get together/party today. So great! We cooked a ton of food and there were even no bake cookies so that was a win. It was a fun mix of Spanish and English. The missionaries in my zone are all so nice. I was proud because I went with a different Hermana to get a pan from a member`s house and I remembered how to get there. Haha slowly but surely. The church building here is way nice. I`m pretty sure it is the same size as our stake center if not bigger.

I was a bit sick Saturday but I had a Priesthood blessing and was more or less fine the rest of the day and then Sunday I was fine. My Spanish is getting better, but I obviously still have a long way to go. I`m getting better at understanding people. I wish I could just snap my fingers and understand everything and communicate everything I want to say, but I know I need to work for it. I pray every day (more like every hour haha) for help. I am growing so much. It is amazing to watch other people grow. I really am so blessed.

I went on splits with one of the sister training leaders Hermana Raymond this week and that was so great. I learned so much from her and from the Spirit that day. It was also cool to see what kind of missionary I can become if I keep working hard. I am learning even more to trust in the spirit to guide me. Faith is action. Also, goals are so important.

I remembered that it was the forth of July just in time so I wore my red and white polka dot shirt with my blue skirt. Un poco Estados Unidos pride haha.

I`m attatching what may be some of the most awkwardest photos I have ever taken in my life, but I want to send some home so here they are! If you can believe it, I have many more that are even worse. Haha enjoy. Also, my view from our apartment. We are on the second story! The land lord of our apartment repainted the front of our apartment teal and white, so I`m loving that. Maybe next week I can send some photos of that. Any photo requests?

Remember that God really is not far from us. In fact, just a prayer away (well actually probably even closer than that). If we give it all to Him he will make more of us than we could ourselves! Have an amazing week! i love you all!

Hermana Lee
