It seems so weird that I have been in Nicaragua for two months now. Two months since I got off the bus at the mission home, two months since I met Hermana Corzantes. Time is speeding up. I don`t know how that is happening! I love being here and being on a mission more and more every day. I already thought I loved it in the beginning, but I love it even more now.
We went on divisions two more times this week. The first one was with Hermana Gubler who is from Toole and just got here to Nicaragua. I was a tad nervous because it was going to be a test of our Spanish, but it went really well. I love that when we have faith and trust, the Lord qualifies us. The second time was with Hermana Combe (this is her last transfer before she goes home). It is amazing how much we can learn from every person we meet. I love them both a ton.
On Friday with Hermana Combe we were walking and passed a house and I felt like we should contact there. There was a family and we started teaching them. They were so prepared to hear about the gospel. They were so positive so we gave them a Book of Mormon. However, when we invited them to go to church the next day, they said yes but they live in a different area! Which means they`re not ours. It was so sad. But, I know that they needed to hear the gospel! I`m so glad that the gospel is the same everywhere.
Two of the families we are teaching are family to Fatima and Eric who got married a week ago. Marta and her husband have three kids and we are teaching Eric`s mom and the rest of his siblings. I love that we can see the effect of the spirit in people`s lives. Heavenly Father really has prepared people to hear this gospel.
I think winter is almost over and summer is starting because it has gotten a lot hotter recently and rained less. We had a conference for new missionaries and we put our hand prints on a sign that says that we are the hands of Christ. It was so cool to see and important to remember. Also, we did this activity where we all left and invited people in the surrounding neighborhood to come and have a tour of the church building. I know I have probably said this already, but I love church tours. There is such a special spirit in the church and people can feel it.
I hope all is well with you guys. I love hearing about what is going on in your lives. It makes me so happy. I`m praying for you!

Also, one of the recent converts in the ward has a rabbit who just had 6 babies and I got to hold them! They are so adorable.
