(4-27-15)

Okay, I am going to make up for not writing very much the past couple of weeks by writing a lot today. I remembered to stick my journal in my bag so I could remember a lot of highlights from the week.

First of all, we had interviews with Presidente! I really love these interviews a lot. I always learn so much. Presidente Collado is guided so much by the spirit. I always come away so edified and with so many things I am going to apply.

Also, fun fact, my eye randomly got some weird allergy thing so it got red and swollen for like 2 days. Okay, maybe not so randomly because it probably has something to do with the fact that I always pet kittens and puppies and then accidently touch my eye. But no worries because my eye is better and we carry hand sanitizer around now. The mission nurse did tell me that I could wear sunglasses. Haha so I felt pretty fachenta.

Hermana Cones had her first experience eating an entire fried fish this week. Lucky for us we had interviews with president afterwards so we stopped to buy mints really fast. Also, our phone fell in water while we were contacting a house that had a venta (a small store). That was actually well timed because we could buy rice to put it in to absorb the water. It was really funny because the hermana from the pulperia (another word for small store) was so confused becuase I guess not many people have heard that tip.

Can you believe I have been out on my mission for almost a whole year?? When I was waiting for Hermana Cones to finish writing I estimated that this is prabably my 50th letter home (give or take). We are teaching some really amazing people right now. The Lord really prepares people to accept his gospel. We have been working with a guy named Sergio. He is a reference from one of our recent converts. We watched the Restoration with him in the house of some members and the spirit was so strong. He is preparing to get baptized on the 9th.

Also, we contacted an hermana named Ana in the street last week and ended up putting a fecha with her. It was kind of sad because the whole week we couldn`t find her, but then she showed up yesterday at church!

I love Sundays so much. It is a day that the Lord has given us to remember him and feel the spirit even more. Also, because we can take the Sacrament and start over each week. I love you all so much! Thank you for everyone that sent pictures! They made me so happy! Keep them coming!

Con amor,
Hermana Lee
