Hello!
Today was pretty crazy because of changes. So we found out yesterday at 5pm that Hermana Palencia is now going to be the TL in Villa Flor (in Managua). So yesterday we went around so she could say goodbye to everyone. I am so grateful for the time we had together, seriously though, I learned so much! She is so great! My new companion is Hermana Landaverde. She is also from El Salvador and fun fact she is going to kill me! Ha in mission language that means she is my last companion. Since this is my last change I am "dying" and since she is my companion she is "killing me". She is such a good example to me. Today hermana Palencia had to be at the bus terminal at 5am to go to Managua, so I spent the morning with Hermana Rivas who was also waiting for her companion. There was a little bit of confusion about who was supposed to go with who for changes, but it all worked out okay in the end.
We are working with some really great people who are preparing to get baptized, but of course we are always looking for the other people that God has also prepared.
I`m excited to start working with Hermana Landaverde and to do all the things the Lord wants us to do here in Chichigalpa together!

Wow this week! Esther and Socorro got baptized!!! They are nieces of a less active family that we reactivated. They smiled so big when they walked into the baptismal font. I love them and their family so much! We had a giant Pday with the zone which was super fun. I love these people so much. Changes are next week and we don´t know what is going to happen... I think I will be staying here for my last change, but we don´t know if Hermana Palencia will or not.. Stay tuned to find out! haha I love you guys!!!!

Hello again!
Not going to lie, it´s kind of hard to concentrate right now because I´m in the house of the Quintanilla family and they are really funny and distracting. They have a cyber so we are writing here. Today is Independence day in Nicaragua and I am pretty sure in almost all central america. It is super fun because there are parades all over the place with the students playing instruments or dancing or just marching.
This week was super fun. We worked super hard and intelligently and found lots of new people. When president Nelson came, he stressed the importance of working with people that know members because they are more likely to progress. Obviously we can´t stop contacting since we also find a lot of people that way, but have an enfasis in the people that the members know. So, that is what we have been focusing on. Here it is super great because contacting you can find a lot of people who will listen to you, but you have to be careful because many will listen but won´t act or progress. I´m so excited to introduce the missionaries to everyone I know haha. So watch out haha. It just really is so happy.
We are working with the nieces of some members so that they can get baptized this week. We also had a cool experience with one of our investigators. we always contact the tricicleros and taxistas. about two weeks ago, we contacted a triciclero and he told us that he was the nephew of a member we know. We passed by his house and he wasn´t there, but this week we ended up getting in his triciclo again, and he told us about the changes he was making in his life and he accepted a baptismal date right then and there.
We did divisions three times this week, two that were normal and another one with Hermana Reyes again! We had a zone conference with President Collado and since we are the TLs we did divisions again with the TLs of the mission after the meeting. But really, so many great and precious things have happened this week that I don´t have time to tell you. BUT Know that I love you all and love photos. HAve a good week and get excited for General Conference!!!

Hellooooo
Well this week was also super cool. We went to Managua to give an accounting of how our zones did in August. They always give us cheesecake afterwards which is super great. This next week will be Independence day here, so all the schools are practicing for the parades aka they are practicing their drum routines.
We did divisions with the other hermanas that are in Chichigalpa. Also, we did divisions with Corinto and I was with Hermana Waters. It was cool because Hermana Waters and I came together. What was funny though was that the next day I would just randomly speak in english on accident to Hermana Palencia without even realizing it because the two languages are basically the same to me now.
We are working hard finding and teaching people to be baptized. It is also special because as a mission we have a plan from the stake to work with a lot of less active families and a lot of them have reactivated! It is really so happy to see the differences in their lives and that they have also realized the difference. This gospel blesses families. It is as simple as that.
I love you so much!!!!

Guess what?? I don`t know if I had mentioned it before, but this week we had a Nicaragua wide mission conference with PRESIDENT NELSON. We got to shake his hand and everything. Let me just testify to you that when he walked into the church, the spirit was SO strong. I know that he is a man called of God and that he really is an apostle of God, just as Peter, James, and John and all the other ones in the time of Christ were. It really shows how much God loves us that he loves and guides us today. He doesn`t love us any less than he loved his children back in the day. He wants us to be able to return to live with him so he gives us every possible opportunity to learn of him. I know he is a special witness of Jesus Christ who recieves direction from Him to guide His church and His children here on the earth. I know he is an apostle of God because the spirit testified the truth of me. It was special because after he walked in, he stood in the front to greet all of the missionaries and I was smiling so big because I was so happy and the spirit was so strong and he smiled back at me! And then when I shook his hand he told me that I have a "sharp smiling face." He is so good about caring for the one. When we were singing the closing hymn I said a prayer in my heart to know if he really was called of God to be an apostle, and in the same second my prayers were answered. This is the true church of God and it is God that is guiding it. If you don`t know or have doubts, I invite you to kneel down and ask Him.
We did divisions this week and I was with Hermana Leon de Guatemala and then we did divisions with the sister training leaders from Managua. I was with Hermana Reyes. I really love doing divisions because I always learn so much. It is finally raining, hopefully this keeps up haha. I love you all so much and have a good week!!
