Hi!

So I attached some pretty quality (or some might say random) pictures! One of them is a spiral thing that we burn at night to keep the mosquitos away, another one is a cool braid that Hermana Bernards did on my hair when we were on divisions, and another one is a selfie we took with Edinson who got confirmed yesterday, and the other two are from the first time in my whole mission that I wore a cardigan haha.

This week we did divisions again! This time I was with Hermana Bernards in Tesoatega. It was the first time I got to do divisions with her which is pretty funny because she had been on divisions with all of my companions but never with me until Tuesday.

We had a cool experience where we were going to various appointments but all of them ended up falling through so we were praying pretty hard in our hearts to have the spirit with us. We weren`t really sure where to go, but we continued with our plans and I said something like "well, where ever we go, God is going to put people in our path." A little while later, we walked past a member's house and she came running out to us because one of her friends that she works with was over at her house. It turns out that he works for the church but isn`t a member and in that exact moment that he was saying that he wanted to learn more, we walked past!

On a sadder note, two of our converts, Alfredo and Pedro, are in the hospital. Please pray for them! The hospital is close to our area so we got to go visit them, which was good.

Also, yesterday we had lots of little miracles during church when a lot of our investigators and less actives showed up! We were so happy.

Finally, we got permission to see Meet the Mormons! We ended up watching it with all the sister missionaries in our zone. It is super good and if you haven`t seen it yet, please go watch it!

I love you all and keep enduring to the end! This life is so happy and a precious time we have to learn all we can and to keep getting better. God is so close to us we just need to realize it! Have a good week!

Dear world,

This week was pretty crazy. Basically, God is great.

Hermana Lee

P.S. haha just kidding. Well God really is great (or as we say here Dios es grande) and this week was pretty crazy, but I will tell you more!

For example, we had a 3 zone wide day of divisions where everyone was changed around and we were given metas to work for. I ended up going to La Florida which is in the zone of Chinandega with Hermnana Pelaez who only has 3 weeks in the mission. She is really so amazing! We literally saw so many miracles. I am really learning about how we have to give everything we have and then a little bit more. Or, in other words, in the service of the Lord we are abundantly blessed when we give an extra step after we have already done what we can. I have always pondered what it means to lose your life in the service of the Lord and I think I am finally beginning to brush the tip of the iceberg. Obviously I still have a long way to go.

Also, Edinson and Sergio got baptized!!!!!!! We`ve worked with them so much and they are really so special. Hermana Cones and I decided to sing a special musical number at their baptism. We sang I need thee every hour but we mixed spanish and english. It ended up being super spiritual, at least for me it was. We are really humbled everyday at how much God loves his children.

This week was our stake conference! It was in the stake center so our ward rented a bus because the stake center is pretty far away and basically no one has cars. It was such a happy moment to be on that bus coming home from the conference with everyone from our ward together on that bus. I just love everyone here so much.

It started raining in Nicaragua last week which was welcome because before it starts raining, it gets SUPER hot. I think I´m going to buy a new umbrella though.

I love you all so much. I have such a testimony that the miracles come after the trial of our faith! So stay strong and choose to believe!

Hello family!

This week was pretty special, but then again every week is pretty special. First of all, I don`t know if you guys remember, but about a month ago I told you guys about a man we invited to church when we were on our way to church and then he actually showed up? Well, this week he got baptized! That goes to show that even little things like inviting someone to church can change their life for forever.

Also, we had a very tender experience in a lesson with Edinson this week. He told us that he had recieved an answer to his prayers and that he is going to get baptized this Sunday! The spirit was so strong in that lesson. He is so special and we could just feel how important he is to our Heavenly Father. He is going to big things in his life. We see time and time again how Heavenly Father puts people in our path in specific moments for specific reasons. I know he is preparing people to accept his gospel and have so many magnificent blessings in their lives and in the world to come. He lives and He loves us!

On a different note, in our zone meeting this week we played a fun game where there is someone up in the front with their back turned and starts clapping. The rest of the people are passing around a marker. Then whoever is stuck with the pen when the person stops clapping gets something drawn on their face. It was hilarious. Of course, I was the first person to get drawn on, but that actually turned out to be a blessing because by the end the drawings were getting pretty intense.

We obviously have hard times in the mission, but it is just so cool to see all of the tender mercies. We can see and feel God`s love so much for us and in turn we love the people here so much. It`s crazy to see and realize how much I learn every change. When you think you are starting to get the hang of things, the Lord helps us learn and grow even more. We just have to depend on Him.

I love you all and there is so much more I could write, but just know that this is the true church of Christ and that God is preparing the way for each and everyone of us to become the people he wants us to become so that we can return to live with Him. Have a good week!

Hello! I love you!

In the mission President sends out a list of the top 10 companionships every week, and this week Hermana Cones and I made number 4! We`ve come a long way haha.

We had our ward conference this week and our recent convert Alfredo blessed the Sacrament!!! We were so happy. He also got called as secretary of the Priests Quorum. We are so proud.

We`ve been working a lot with a guy named Sergio and he didn`t get baptized this week but now he is pretty set on this week! Please pray for him!

Also, fun story. One of our less active friends works at a shrimp farm and he brought home a ton and his family invited us over for shirmp soup! It was super good but the shirmp were whole, so we had to pull their heads off haha. That was a first for me.

Also, I had a lot of insights about the atonement this week. One of them was we were reading in 3 Nefi 11 with an investigator when Christ appears and one by one the people go and touch the marks in His hands. I`ve always loved that we can see how much love that Christ has for us since he waited for everyone in the multitude to come up to Him. But this time when we were reading it with Sergio and Edinson, what really impacted me was that imagine going and touching the marks in the Savior`s hands and knowing that they are there because of you. Knowing that he suffered and died for you. We can`t fully understand how much Christ went through for us and how often do we not accept his Atonement, or even reject it?

I love this work and I love you guys! Until next week!
