Hello Family!
This week was pretty crazy. But crazy great. First off we don`t have changes! That means that Hermana Cones and I are going to be together here in El Naranjo until the first week of July. This will be our third change together! I also included a picture of the missionaries in our Ward. We have two sets. The Elders and us! The Elders are Elder Gonzalez and Elder Bonilla. They're super great.
This week our investigators Alexander (8 years old) and Alfredo (16 years old) got baptized! Alex is the son of Bertha and German who got baptized last week. He really wanted to get baptized with them, but then he got scared of the wáter. But we worked with him this week and he was so excited to finally get baptized! That day was a day of miracles and a day that has a lot of good stories. I'll tell you them all when I get home!
Alfredo's dad finally told us that he felt that Alfredo was ready to get baptized and gave him permission! So on Saturdy for El Dia Blanco he got baptized! Basically Dia blanco was an activity that our zone did where everyone who was getting baptized that day all got baptized in the same baptismal service in the stake center! He is so great and sincere and has such a strong testimony.
Also, Elder Duncan came this week! We went to Managua on Thursday. It was such a good meeting. He and the Spirit counseled us on small changes that we can make as a misión that will make a huge difference. He also explained the visión of missionary work which helped me to understand a lot better what our purpose here is in Nicaragua.
We're are working a lot with less actives to help them and also work with them to find new investigators. It really makes me so happy. I love you all and it is crazy to think that in 6 months I will be back home. I am determined to give my all these last 6 months and serve in the way the Lord wants me to. Have an amazing week!

Hey! So I just sent a lot of pictures! I hope you guys enjoy them because they make me so happy! Bertha and German got married and then got baptized! It was so happy. We truly have seen so many miracles this week. I`ve had to learn to put literally all of my confidence in the Lord. We need to make sure our desires are in line with the Lord's, then make plans to meet our goals with the spirit, and then work with all of our might to complete them. Also, I really had an insight on prayer this week. Praying with faith is something so important. I`ve had to make sure that I`m not just praying just to pray, but really praying sincerely with all of my heart. There is also a picture that I sent that has another part member family that I love so much (hint: it`s the one with the cat).
Just so you know, we named the two puppies that are in one of the photos Hermana Lee and Hermana Cones. I love them a lot.

You can't direct the wind, but you can adjust the sails (5-4-15)
Okay! I think the plan is to call home on Saturday at about 1 or 2 o clock! I'm super excited to talk to you guys! Get your questions ready!
We`ve been working with a joven named Alfredo. We actually contacted his house and then it turned out that one of his best friends is a member so he has had a lot of fellowshiping. The goal is that he gets baptized this next weekend and he is excited for it!
We were given a huge packet of talks to read to prepare for when Elder Duncan comes to talk to our mission at the end of May. There are also some really good chapters from The Miracle of Forgiveness that are included. I never actually read that book before but I have already had so many insights. Also, I was reading the Liahona and there is a talk that from President Monson that had a really good quote "you can`t direct the wind, but you can adjust the sails." I just really love that so much. I feel like that describes this past week pretty well.
Training has been such a learning experience. I am so grateful for Hermana Cones. She is so willing to lose herself and get to work. I'm pretty sure I've learned more from her than she has from me haha. I love you all and hope you have a good week! I'll TALK to you soon!
