Okay I don`t have time to write this week because this Pday has been pretty hectic. Hermana Cones and another Hermana in our district were sick so I was basically on divisions the whole day with Hermana Gonzalez to try and get everything done. Hermana Cones is getting better though because she is finally taking medicine and had a priesthood blessing. So here are some highlights of our week in pictures! Pedro got married and Baptized! What was really special was that his son got to baptize him! It was so great! Also I sent the selfie to prove how long my hair is now. Basically I love the mission. We saw so many miracles this week and I learned and grew so much! On a sadder note, our bishop`s wife passed away this week from cancer. We are doing all we can to support him and our ward.

I love you all so much! Cuidense mucho!

Hi!

This week was super good! Did you know that they use super as an adjetive here too? This week we had a mission conference with both the North and the South mission with Bishop Davies and Elder Ochoa. It was so good! And it was fun because I got to see some people that are serving in the south mission that were in the same zone as me in the CCM. I feel like I have learned more this change than I have in any other change.

We had a girl that was supposed to get baptized this week but at the last second her parents decided that they wanted her to wait to get baptized until she`s 18. She is super great though and just has to wait a few more years. We are working with a few people so that they can get baptized this weekend so we will see what happens.

Remember when I told you that I almost called myself Hermana Cones last week? Well she definitely introduced herself as Hermana Lee this week on accident which was pretty hilarious.

This week I had an insight about the atonement. As missionaries we are witnesses of Jesus Christ and face a lot of opposition. this week we had a lesson that basically embodied that and I realized that it`s not even a small part of what Christ experienced. I am so grateful for my Savior and his love for us.

We`ve been working a lot with the members in this ward and trying to help build up this ward the most we can. I feel like one thing I`ve learned in the mission is to ENDURE. I love this opportunity I have to be a representative of Christ and invite everyone I talk to to follow Christ. I love you and have an amazing week!!!

Hellloooooo

So this week I got hit by a motorcycle. But no big deal or anything haha. I was getting of the bus after district meeting and I didn´t look beforehand so all of a sudden I just saw a motorcyle coming really fast at me trying to pass the bus. I had enough time to take half a step back and he slowed down and swerved, but he still hit me on the arm with his mirror. Haha the only way to explain it is that I was protected in the moment. Thanks for your prayers, they work! I have also learned my lesson to look both ways before getting off a a bus. Also another highlight was when we were street contacting a family and for a split second I thought my name was Hermana Cones. I´m not sure why but I guess if I was going to be anyother missionary I would be cool with being her haha.

We had a really cool multi zone meeting with Presidente Collado. Basically I got a lot of answers to prayers and goals with things I am going to do better to be a better servant and witness of Christ. Also, Presidente shared a story about when Hermana Dalrymple and I were in Villa Flor and he was going to interview one of our investigators. It was really special and the spirit was so strong.

I´ve also learned that there really aren´t coincidences. Things happen for a reason. It´s funny how many times we feel like we should go talk to one of our investigators and then after leaving from a lesson we run into another investigator that we haven´t been able to find. It´s the best.

I have a goal to prepare more when I pray and to pray with more faith. I´ve really seen a difference already. I know that this is the church of Chirst and that he is here helping us. I love you all and pray for you guys all the time. Keep the faith!

PS The only reason this email makes sense is because Hermana Cones is editing over my shoulder and fixing my English. She´s going to be an English teacher haha

Hello!

This week was super great. Basically I was without a home Sunday and Monday because my companion wasn`t here yet so I was staying and working with other sister missionaries in my zone. Tuesday Hermana Gonzalez and I woke up super early so we could be at the bus terminal at 5am so we could be in Managua by 8am. We had a training to train us how to train at the mission office and then we went to the house of President to meet our hijos! My new companion is Hermana Cones. She is from Arizona and is 19 years old. I wanted to send pictures but I can`t since my camera is being weird. Hopefully next week!. Also, she put her first baptismal date this week! She makes me so proud. She is so excited to be here and her testimony is so strong which has helped me a lot to be even more excited and remember why I am here.

We have been working a lot with the members in our ward. Actually all of our investigators that came this week to church came with members! We were both pretty sick on Saturday night and Sunday but feel a lot better today.

I`ve been trying to work even more on recogizing and teaching with the spirit and asking inspired questions. The Lord knows us and knows our investigators. I love this gospel so much and the hope that it gives to everyone. I love you all and I hope you all have a good week!

Hello all,

I just wanted to share a scripture that helped me a lot this week. Doctrine and Covenants 101:16 Therefore, let your hearts be comforted; for all flesh is in mine hands; be still and know that I am God.

I was fasting on Monday and this scripture came to my mind. A calm came over me. Being a daughter of God is something so special. I know that Piper is so precious to our Father in Heaven.

I had the opportunity to have a fast of gratitude this Sunday and it was something so special for me.

Hermana Eda got baptized and confirmed on Sunday which was such a special experience. She made me get up with her to go bear her testimony on Sunday because she wanted to but was really nervous. She really is so special. She was supposed to get baptized on Saturday but some things happened. We passed by Saturday night and had a lesson where the spirit was so strong. There were a lot of distractions from little kids and people passing through the house, but the Spirit helped us to know what questions to ask and to help her realize that she was ready to get baptized. At the end of the lesson she asked, "There is not a way that my baptism can be tomorrow is there?" and we were like, "Of course" so we left her with the commitment to pray with all energy of heart and verify that this step is what God wanted for her. We passed by in the morning early and she was ready to go with the answer from God in her heart. She is already seeing adversity but she knows that if she prays, reads the scriptures, and has the spirit with her, nothing will ever overcome her.

Hermana Mendez had cambios to Leon I am so grateful for the time I had with her because I really learned so much. I also got a phone call on Saturday that I am going to be training a new missionary this change! So that means that I don`t have a companion right now because the new missionaries don`t come until Tuesday. I have to go to Managua tomorrow early for a training meeting. I`m basically praying a lot. Yesterday and today I`ve been with a different companionship in their area.

I love you all and you are all in my prayers. Our family is going to be together forever. I have such a testimony of that. We are going to do our part with the opportunity that God has given us. You are all so important to me and so close to my heart. I LOVE YOU!
