Okay so Chinandega happens to be a lot hotter than Villa Flor but it is actually not that bad. I'm already learning a lot, to be honest. One of our miracles of the week is that we have been teaching this hermana named Eda. She has a baptismal date for the 7th of February. She hadn't come to church and there was only like an hour left, but then she walked in!!!! It was so great. We are thinking of more ideas to work with members. I don't have a ton of time to write so I will just send these pictures instead! I love you all!!!

So, the big news is that I GOT TRANSFERED!!! I'm now in Chinandega Oeste. My area is El Naranjo. That means that yesterday I had to say goodbye to all the people in Villa Flor. That may have been one of the saddest things I have ever had to do. I love them so much and they have taught and helped me so much. They let me be part of their families and they are such an example for me. One of our recent converts Darwin who has been a little bit inactive went to church on Sunday! I was literally so happy. I think the only reason I was okay to leave is because I know I´m leaving the area in good hands.

My companion´s name is Hermana Mendez and she is from Guatemala. She is so great! It hasn´t really hit me yet that this is my new area but I´m sure it will soon. I´m excited to meet the people here and give my all to help the Lord´s work here in Chinandega Oeste. It took us like 3 hours to get here. We took a taxi to get to a bus stop where the bus passes to go to Chinandega. We crammed all the hermanas going to Chinandega in a taxi with our suitcases. It was pretty impressive but a tad uncomfortable. What was cool too is that I saw Hermana Corzantes! She is ending her mission and it was so happy to see her before I go. Also when we were getting into the taxi Hermana Sorida who is a member passed by. It was so happy because I hadn't gotten to say goodbye to her. Also, it turns out that Hermana Olsen who was my companion in the CCM is in my district! Crazy!

I really love you guys so much and I tell everyone I talk to about the twins. I hope everything is well with you guys. Know I pray for you guys all the times. Les quiero!

Hellooooo

We had some problems with the internet place we were at so we switched and now I don't have a ton of time, but I love you!

We played an intense game of kickball today as a zone and it was super fun. We also went to Pizza Hut with the Hermanas so that was way fun. Also, randomly enough all of the sisters in our zone are American so to quote one of the Hermanas, we are the American Girl Dream Team. Ha. Also yesterday there was a city wide power outage for about an hour which was pretty fun.

Basically, there are people here that have changed my life. (one day I'll write a list of all of them and send it to you) The gossip is that I'm getting transfered this next week. We'll know on Sunday, and then you guys will know on Monday! Something that I've recognized this week is that the mission (and life pues) are really all about learning. Learning to love, learning to trust, learning to act. The list really goes on and on. There is a cool quote that I wrote in my agenda a while ago that says "The power behind us is greater than any obstacle in front of us" How true is that?

Prayer really is key. I know that Christ walks these streets with us and that this is his church. He is always inviting us to come unto him. I love that. It doesn't matter your past, where you are at now. Just come. Read 3 Nefi 9:14 we share that one a lot.

Pictures of Rebecca

One of Rebecca's friends in the Villa Flor ward sent me some photos of her and her companion. He says that they really love her down there and that she's part of their family.

Okay. I really love emailing because I can still be part of the family even though I am in Nicaragua.

This week I did a lot of thinking and a lot of praying. Well, I always do those two things but even more self reflection this week. I love that when we ask our Father in Heaven what more we can do or what we can do better, we get a lot of answers. I really love that. It's proof that even though I know I am not perfect, Christ is there to help. He walks with us, he suffered for us, he lives to guide us.

I'm writing today instead of yesterday because we had a zone activity yesterday and we went to Leon!!!! It was my first time out of Managua. Let me just tell you that I already knew Nicaragua was pretty but now I believe it even more. I don't have my camera with me so I'll send the pictures next week.Just heads up it has been super windy. We went to see the ruins of Old Leon and then we barbequed at a member's house who lives close by. Then we got to go to the shore of Lake Managua. It is so pretty. There are two volcanos in the middle of the lake. I really love nature because it is so easy to see the fingerprints of God.

I'm really excited for this week because we have some big plans. New years was so great, and yes we woke up at midnight to a ton of fireworks. They are so loud and so close and there is so many! I really love you all and you are all in my prayers.
